Welcomed festival goers, answered questions, provided information and directions.
Looked out for people requiring medical help / violence / over-crowding and reported to the medics/security.


August 2015-March 2016 – Mobility Services Officer, Airedale General Hospital

Responsible for the administration and co-ordination of Orthotics within Mobility Services. Duties include; organising ambulance transport, maintaining up to date stock records, entering daily statistics. Analysing, inputting and supplying data. Invoicing. Allocating appointments for patients. Reception duties; including managing queries, providing advice and assistance. Telephone duties; including providing a high level of customer service, rearranging appointments, providing information for patients, complaints handling and managing queries. Liaising with clinicians and suppliers. Managing all MSO duties in the absence of other Mobility service officers.

2014 – 2015 Sales assistant, Pagazzi Lighting Boundary Mill Stores

My roles included, helping customers, using my sales skills and experience to the best of my ability to make as many sales as possible to reach sales targets, being professional and friendly, making customers feel comfortable, tidying, cleaning and merchandising.

2008 – 2012  Sales assistant, Belledorm Boundary Mill Stores

My roles as a sales assistant at Belledorm included, Serving customers, helping customers, using my sales skills and experience to the best of my ability to make as many sales as possible therefore reaching sales targets, being friendly, making customers feel comfortable, tidying, cleaning and Stock taking. Warehouse work – handling stock, pricing.

Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft office. Recently studied the programming language PHP and built databases using Mysql.

Whilst working in sales, retail and administration within the NHS, I have gained a wide range of skills and experiences in dealing with and serving the public. I have provided efficient advice and assistance. I have experience of working in a team and independently, working to deadlines, adapting to high pressure situations and providing a high standard of communication. Working with the public has been a positive experience and I enjoy this type of hands on work. During my time at University I added to my communication, adaptability, leadership and team work skills in things such as group projects and presentations. I also have excellent knowledge in the modules studied in my degree including; digital marketing, principles of marketing, e-commerce, emerging technologies, project management, economics, information security, web development, advanced web design, corporate strategy, accounting and management development.

From studying Business Information Technology I have gained valuable knowledge about the Business and Technology world.
